Fixing thining mid-lengths and ends

Mackenzie’s hair was thinning out towards the middle and ends of her hair. She wanted a thicker, fuller head of hair that would be easy to take care of. We used a mixture of Tape-In Extensions and Fusion Extensions using the Micro Bonding™ technique. We installed Tape-Ins for a total of 3 rows in the back, and Micro Bonded Fusion Extensions on the top and near the front of her head.

Hair Extensions Used

1 pk 18" #30/33 Tape-In
1 pk 18" Fusion #613 Fusion

  • Use Babe Single Sided Tape
  • Cut fusion strands into ¼ strands
  • Section the hair into a T parting

•  Starting at the nape of the neck, apply 3 rows of Tape-In Extensions using Single Sided Tape.
•  Around the top and crown of the head, apply 2 rows of ¼ strand Fusion Extensions using the Micro Bonding™ technique.
•  Note: use a bricklay pattern to cover more area with color and achieve baby highlights at the base.

Cutting and Blending

•  Cut extensions to match the length of the clients own hair.
