Making the Most of Your Distributor
Distributors are to Babe what agents are to Hollywood starlets—they help make Babe the extensions powerhouse that it is. We love our distributors, and we’re sure you do, too (not least because they provide you with your Babe fix!), but are you sure that you’re making the most of their products and services? If your usual interaction with them involves stepping into the store, purchasing an item or two, and then going on your way, then we think not! Today, we’re going to talk about some of the ways you can utilize your distributor to the fullest.
Promotions
Firstly, distributors aren’t just the storehouses for all the professional beauty products you can’t do without—they’re also the keepers of the discounts you really ought to have. Our distributors feature Babe and Babe Lash bi-monthly promotions, offering everything from marked-down hair extensions and tools to buy-one-get-one deals on lash-enhancing products. This month, they’re selling Flat-Tip at 15% off. And we know they have promotions for their other beauty brands, too.
Professional Support
Have a question about a product, or need a second opinion about a beauty-related decision? Call up your local distributor. Distributors are versed in the A-Zs of the products they carry, and they’re invested in your salon’s success (more clients for you = more business for them). Get their input and give them feedback within the same session—it’s a win-win for everyone!
Networking
Another thing about distributors is that they interact with a lot of other beauty industry professionals. Their staff knows stylists of varied specialties, beauty salesmen, human resource and marketing specialists from your favorite brands, and maybe even a founder or two. At Babe, we make a point of being on close terms with our distributors. Our CEO will visit them himself on occasion. So never underestimate who your distributor might know!
