I-Tip ONLINE COURSE
Clients love how I-Tip Extensions easily blends into hair, without the use of heat, glues, or chemicals. I-Tip extensions are installed using small beads. This strand-by-strand method offers a full range of movement and styling.
In this video, you’ll be introduced to the I-Tip extension tools and equipment. You’ll learn how to use the Loop Tool to thread beads on the hair without creating knots and snags that could cause pain, discomfort, and hair loss for your client. You’ll learn techniques for using the Hair Extension Tool to clamp the beads to hold the hair extensions in place. There are three types of beads: Flare, Micro-Lock, and Silicone. The video explains the differences between the bead types, and how to decide which one is best for each client.
Instructor Kari Fuller will show you how to install extensions working from the nape of the head upward. You’ll learn how to section the hair and how to make install the beads discretely so the hair is easy for your client to style.
You’ll learn the four steps of proper blending, so hair will have a soft, natural feel. Kari will show you how to determine the hair’s length, frame the face, connect the layers, and detail and polish hair for the final look.
You’ll learn how to consult and advise your clients to take care of their extensions. You’ll learn which kinds of products are safe to use on hair extensions, and how to wash, condition, and style them properly. You’ll learn how to remove the extensions safely using the Hair Extensions Tool to un-crimp the beads.
The focus in this training is on safety, efficiency, and creativity. You’ll learn how to give your clients the best hair extension experience possible. Throughout the video, you’ll get reviews and quizzes along the way to help you remember key points and important information. Good Luck!
